Why the Pittsburgh Steelers Have a Top International Fanbase
When the Pittsburgh Steelers played the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, everyone could see Terrible Towels waving throughout the Stade de France. The Pittsburgh Steelers have a strong international fan base, particularly in France, thanks to their 16-10 victory over the New Orleans Saints. This was the first NFL game to be held in France and was seen throughout the Stade de France. Despite the civil unrest in Paris leading up to the game, security was heightened and the game went well. The Steelers now have a 5-2 record. This victory was the second international regular-season game they won, defeating the Minnesota Vikings in Dublin, Ireland. The team will face the Cleveland Browns on November 1st at Acrisure Stadium.
