Despite Black's 18 saves, the Panthers lost their second game in as many nights. Nick Robertson scored twice for Pittsburgh, Hendrix Lapierre and Evgeni Malkin also contributed. The win follows a disappointing Western Conference road trip that saw 19-year-old forward Ben Kindel collapse during the flight back to Pittsburgh. Kindel was placed on injured reserve but may return to practice as early as next week.
