Daylight saving time isn't permanent. When Pittsburgh clocks fall back
With Congress opting not to make daylight saving time permanent, clocks will soon fall back for the fall time change in Pittsburgh. Clocks will fall back for the fall time change in Pittsburgh on the first Sunday of November, following Congress's decision not to make daylight saving time permanent. The U.S. House approved the Sunshine Protection Act earlier in the summer, but the Senate did not vote on it. This means that clocks will fall by one hour to 1 a.m. and bring earlier sunsets and evening daylight for the remainder of the fall season and winter months. Daylight saving time runs from March to November, resulting in later sunsets, and more evening daylight. However, Hawaii and most of Arizona, save for the Navajo Nation, are the only U.K. states that don't observe daylight saving.
