Pittsburgh local music spotlight: Sunny Daze & the Weathermen
Pittsburgh local music spotlight: Sunny Daze & the Weathermen Flower punk/garage rockers Sunny Daze & the Weathermen have released their latest album, "Overcast," which is said to be dark and reflective of current events. The band's guitarist/vocalist Max Begler said the album was influenced by the modern garage movement of bands like Thee Oh Sees and Frankie & The Witch Fingers while incorporating more postpunk and new wave elements and mixing more noise and weird sounds. The album release show will be held on Nov. 14 at Bottlerocket Social Hall in Pittsburgh's Allentown neighborhood.
