Most of us don't think twice about making a phone call, going to a doctor's appointment or having a conversation with a friend. But for many in the deaf community, communication access can't be taken for granted. That's what inspired a local family to turn a personal mission into an organization dedicated to helping people connect, participate and be heard. A local family has dedicated Sign Language Interpreting Professionals, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping deaf people connect, participate and be heard. The group aims to provide greater communication opportunities for the deaf community. The mission was inspired by a personal mission to help people connect and participate.
