A woman who says she was sexually assaulted by a passenger on a United Airlines flight from Pittsburgh to Chicago is seeking answers from federal authorities nearly five weeks after the reported incident. Leah Melley, a passenger on a United Airlines flight from Pittsburgh to Chicago, claims she was sexually assaulted by a passenger who touched her and exposed himself during the flight. The incident occurred about 30 minutes into the flight and occurred when Melley was sitting in a window seat. She claims the man raised the armrest between them and then placed a blanket over them to block the view. Melley claims she woke another passenger and made her way to the back of the plane, where she reported the incident to the flight crew and was moved to another seat. Despite this, she has not received any official action from federal authorities regarding the incident.
