Daylight saving time isn't permanent. When Pittsburgh clocks fall back
With Congress opting not to make daylight saving time permanent, clocks will soon fall back for the fall time change in Pittsburgh. The U.S. House approved the Sunshine Protection Act earlier in the summer, but the Senate did not vote on it. This means that clocks will fall back for the fall time change in Pittsburgh on the first Sunday of November. Daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. local time on Nov. 1, marking an extra hour of sleep and bringing earlier sunsets for the remainder of the fall season and winter months. While standard time is used during the year, daylight saving time moves the clock ahead by one hour during part of the year. Only Hawaii and most of Arizona, save for the Navajo Nation, are the only U.K. states that observe daylight saving.
