Morning Roundup: Pittsburgh man accused of attacking children in park Almondo Butcher, a 22-year-old Pittsburgh man, is facing multiple charges for attacking two children with a knife in Allegheny Commons Park on the city's North Side. Police allege that Butcher attempted to stab one child before both children ran to the park's basketball court. When police arrived, they found Butcher next to the children on the basketball court and he was taken into custody. He is being held at the Allegheny County Jail and facing multiple felony charges including aggravated assault and lower counts of harassment and reckless endangerment. Community members are rallying for an Armstrong County family following a devastating house fire. The fire station will be open for donation drop offs from 6 to 9 p.m.
