'It's part of the game': Steelers star responds to accusations of dirty play
Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Cam Heyward responds to Jared Verse's claim that the Steelers play dirty. The Pittsburgh Steelers lost 27-24 to the Cleveland Browns in their first game of the season, but this game will be a chance to level the AFC North. After the game, Browns defensive lineman Jared Verse accused the Steelers of playing dirty and said he had no respect for anyone who played too dirty. Steelers star Cam Heyward responded by saying that double teaming, sliding, chipping, and being chipped are not allowed in our game. Heyward also expressed respect for Cleveland's season and said that the winning team would improve to 6-2 on the season.
