AD—WO, led by Emanuel Admassu and Jen Wood, has been commissioned to reimagine Pittsburgh's Heinz Architectural Center. The project aims to create a more porous relationship between architecture practice and the study of architectural ideas, allowing for public dialogue and engagement. The Heinz architectural Center opened in 1993 and has hosted 76 exhibitions and served as a hub for research, publications, programs, and collecting.
