Aaron Rodgers was good enough in Paris, but RBs were sublime: Steelers report card
Coach Mike McCarthy's offense managed just one touchdown, but the defense almost completely shut down the New Orleans running game. The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the New Orleans Saints 16-10 at Stade de France outside Paris, marking their second international victory in as many years. Despite not being the prettiest win of the season, the Steelers' offense managed only one touchdown and the defense struggled at times against the Saints' passing game. Aaron Rodgers was praised for his long throws, but also missed some opportunities to find open receivers. Rico Dowdle and Jaylen Warren accounted for 223 yards from scrimmage for the Steelers, while the Saints totaled just 18 rushing yards. The defensive backs were playing basically every snap in coverage during the second half. Darnell Washington made the most athletic play of the game on a touchdown pass from Rodgers, allowing him to pass Peyton Manning for third on the NFL's all-time list for touchdown passes.
