The findings also included refrigeration issues at a middle school cafeteria and a child care center, and multiple food safety and labeling violations at a Pottstown-area kitchen. Vesta Kitchen received 11 violations, the most among the four facilities cited. Other violations included missing preparation and thawing dates on ready-to-eat foods, inadequate documentation for food held using time rather than temperature controls, and improper labeling of packaged products. The Health Department listed 14 establishments in compliance during the inspections.
